I ate here today with my husband and our two year old daughter. They were full and we had a pram, but they asked us to wait (only 5 minutes) and secured us a table. They kindly offered to store our pram in the back. All the staff were very sweet with our daughter, making sure she was haply whilst we waited. They kept coming to us and making a fuss of her, and even gave her a handful of chocolates when we left. The food was absolutely amazing, it was fresh and came out in reasonable time considering they were busy. I would eat here again, and recommend for families.

After a long day of exploring York on foot, our gluten free and vegetarian bellies needed filling. Bombay Spice was perfect. This was the best Indian meal we have had in a long time, perhaps ever. We ordered too much so took it back to our lodgings and just had dinner #2. Even cold and a day old, it was still tasty!

Absolutely delicious meal during our trip to York. One of the best Indian meals I've had ( and there have been been a few!) Complimentary drinks after the meal were also provided

We were visiting York on Halloween weekend and was really pleased to have booked a table here. They have a big menu and a great selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food was very good and superbly prepared. The lamb dish was so well cooked, the meat was tender and full of flavors. The vegetable dish was very tasty and of good potion. The two naans were very good too. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, and service was very good. We saw lots of ppl coming for takeaway too, so would recommend this if you are in the area and fancy a good curry.

Went here twice during our trip to York this week. Great atmosphere, plenty of people, great service, great food. Second visit was fairly late around 9:30pm and it was no problem for them to accommodate us. Can recommend the dahl, garlic naan, mushroom rice, and king prawn chilli masala dishes.

Bombay Spice is one of the best Indian Restaurants in York. This was our first time here and will not be our last. From the food to the service to the decor. It was a truly exceptional evening. Highly, highly recommended. For starters we had Onion Bhaji and Chicken Chatt. For main we had Chicken Balti and Lamb Jalfrezi with Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan.

Came here last night for our evening dinner and it was amazing.. The meals were full of flavour and the lamb was very tender Really enjoyed our evening.. ( Himil ) the manager was very welcoming and had exceptional manners.. Definitely will be back..
